Sessenta dias de Madrugada

SIXTY DAYS OF DAWN

Sixty Days of Dawn was written in 2019, upon my return to the Algarve. The poems emerge from a period of re-attunement: to landscape, to memory, to the slow intelligence of everyday gestures.

Moving through physical, sensory, and affective geographies, the book traces relationships between land and body, past and present, inheritance and becoming. Attention is given to small sights and rhythms often overlooked, yet essential to how territories are lived, remembered, and cared for.

The book forms part of an interdisciplinary approach that understands poetry and image as complementary to urban and territorial thought. Here, language becomes a way of listening, and the landscape is approached not as backdrop, but as a living field of relations.
